Privacy policy

At Jousfit we value and protect your privacy. This Privacy Notice explains what personal data we collect, what we use it for, whom we share it with, and what rights you have. It applies to purchases and browsing on jousfit.com. Consumers in Mexico should refer to section 8.1 and European Union consumers to section 8.2.
1. Data controller
The controller of your data is Jousfit Co., with address at 1007 N Orange St, 4th Floor, Ste 1382, Wilmington, Delaware 19801, USA. For any privacy matter or to exercise your rights, write to us at soporte@jousfit.com.
2. What data we collect
We collect only the data necessary to sell and deliver our products to you and to operate the site:
- Identification and contact data: name, email address, phone number.
- Shipping and billing data: delivery address, country, postal code and, where applicable, tax details.
- Payment data: processed securely by our payment provider; Jousfit does not store your full card number, only tokenized references (for example, the last four digits).
- Order and subscription data: purchase history, products, frequency, and status of your subscription.
- Browsing data: IP address, device and browser type, pages visited and interactions, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see section 9 and the Cookie Policy).
3. What we use your data for (purposes)
- Primary purposes (necessary for the contractual relationship): to process and deliver your orders, manage payments, administer subscriptions and recurring charges, handle exchanges, returns and inquiries, provide customer support, and prevent fraud.
- Secondary purposes (require your consent and you may object at any time): to send you marketing communications (email/SMS), surveys, promotions and personalized recommendations, as well as to analyze the use of the site to improve it.
4. Legal basis for processing
For European Union consumers, we process your data on the basis of: (i) the performance of the contract of sale and subscription; (ii) your consent for marketing communications and non-essential cookies; (iii) compliance with legal obligations (tax, accounting, and consumer); and (iv) our legitimate interest in fraud prevention and in improving our products and services.
5. Whom we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with providers that render services to us (data processors), contractually bound to protect it and to use it solely in accordance with our instructions:

We may also disclose data when required by law or to protect our rights.
6. International transfers
To operate the store and deliver your orders, your data may be processed outside your country of residence, in particular in Mexico and the United States, by the providers indicated in section 5. When your data leaves the European Union, we apply the transfer safeguards provided by the GDPR (for example, standard contractual clauses or recognized adequacy frameworks).
7. Retention of your data
We retain your data for as long as the commercial relationship lasts and for the periods required by applicable legal obligations (for example, tax and warranty). After those periods, your data is securely deleted or anonymized.
8. Your rights
8.1 Consumers in Mexico (LFPDPPP)
You have the ARCO rights: Access, Rectification, Cancellation, and Opposition, as well as the right to revoke your consent. You may exercise them by writing to soporte@jousfit.com, indicating your name, the right you wish to exercise, and the information that allows us to locate your data. You may also limit the use or disclosure of your data and unsubscribe from our marketing communications at any time.
8.2 European Union consumers (GDPR)
You have the right to: access, rectification, erasure ("right to be forgotten"), restriction of processing, portability of your data, and objection, as well as to withdraw your consent at any time (without this affecting the lawfulness of prior processing). You may exercise them by writing to soporte@jousfit.com. We will address your request within the time frames set by the GDPR.
9. Cookies and tracking technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies for the operation of the site, to remember your preferences, to analyze usage and —with your consent— for marketing purposes. You can accept, reject, or manage your preferences through the cookie banner available on the site. The details of the cookies we use, their purpose, and their duration are described in our Cookie Policy.
10. Minors
Our products and the site are intended for persons of legal age. We do not intentionally collect data from minors. If we detect that we have collected data from a minor without the corresponding authorization, we will delete it.
11. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse, or unauthorized access. No system is infallible, but we work with providers that meet recognized information security standards.
12. Supervisory authority
If you consider that the processing of your data does not comply with the regulations, you may lodge a complaint:
- In Mexico: with the National Institute for Transparency, Access to Information and Personal Data Protection (INAI).
- In the European Union (Spain): with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).
13. Changes to this Notice
We may update this Privacy Notice at any time. The version in force will be the one published on jousfit.com, with its last-updated date. We recommend reviewing it periodically.
